Refund Policy
Refund and cancellation terms for paid FormsLab subscriptions.

This Refund Policy applies to purchases of FormsLab paid subscription plans (Pro and Premium). It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
1. Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
FormsLab supplies the FormsLab software. Paddle processes payments, issues receipts, and handles refund requests for transactions. Refunds are not issued directly by FormsLab to your payment method — approved refunds are processed by Paddle.
2. 30-day money-back guarantee
If you are a new subscriber to a paid plan, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase date for that plan, for any reason.
This guarantee applies to your first payment for a given paid plan tier. It does not apply to renewal charges, plan upgrades after the initial period, or repeat purchases after a prior refund on the same account.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read this Refund Policy and understand that refund eligibility is subject to the terms below and Paddle's processing rules.
3. Subscription renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time via the Paddle customer portal (link in your receipt or at paddle.net). Cancellation prevents future charges. It does not automatically refund the current billing period unless a refund is granted under this policy or applicable law.
- Renewal refunds:Renewal payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law or approved at Paddle's discretion.
4. Statutory rights (consumers)
If you are a consumer in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory withdrawal rights, you may have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason.
Digital content / immediate access: By subscribing and receiving immediate access to the Service, you request that performance begins at once. Where permitted by law, you acknowledge that you may lose your statutory withdrawal right once full digital delivery has begun, or that a proportionate amount may be due for use already provided. Our 30-day money-back guarantee is offered in addition to, and does not replace, mandatory rights that cannot be waived.
5. How to request a refund
- Preferred:Use the "Request refund" option in your Paddle receipt email, or sign in at paddle.net.
- Alternatively: Email us at support@formslab.app with your account email and order reference. We will forward eligible requests to Paddle for processing.
Include your order ID, purchase date, and reason for the request. Refunds are typically processed to the original payment method within 14 days of approval.
6. Non-refundable situations
Refunds may be declined where:
- The 30-day guarantee period has expired (for initial purchases)
- The request relates to a renewal charge outside statutory rights
- There is evidence of abuse, fraud, or terms violations
- A refund was already granted for the same subscription or account
Paddle may also apply its own discretionary refund rules as described in the Paddle Refund Policy.
7. Plan downgrades and unused time
If you downgrade or cancel mid-cycle, paid features remain available until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time unless required by law or explicitly approved.
8. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us or Paddle before initiating a chargeback. Unwarranted chargebacks may result in account suspension.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy. Changes apply to future purchases. We will notify Paddle of material changes as required by our reseller agreement.
